Southern Turf Solutions was founded by Will Palmer, a former automotive professional who discovered early on that his true passion wasn’t found on a showroom floor, it was growing in the yard. Long before starting the company, Will spent years studying grass, soil health, and best lawn‑care practices simply because he loved it. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a calling.

Will’s appreciation for a great lawn started in childhood. His dad always kept the best yard in the neighborhood, and that pride in a well‑kept lawn stuck with him. Later in life, his father‑in‑law — a consultant for two golf courses — saw Will’s dedication firsthand and encouraged him to turn his talent into a business. After all, he often joked that Will’s grass looked better than many golf courses.

Motivated by that encouragement, Will dove deeper. He took classes, studied relentlessly, and acquired the expertise needed to become a true turf specialist. Today, Southern Turf Solutions is the result of that hard work and passion.
